The Certificate of Aromatherapy course is professionally developed for those who are interested in exploring the healing power of aromatherapy and essential oils. Suitable for job roles as massage therapists (RMT), occupational therapists, social workers, health care professionals, certified aestheticians, essential oil entrepreneurs and wellness advisers etc. Is an aromatherapy course that will teach students how to identify essential oils for therapeutic use and to develop a treatment plan for clients. Students will learn the different properties of essential oils, extraction methods, and the scope and nature of an aromatherapy business.
The Certificate of Aromatherapy course will discover the power of scent and its many applications used in body massage, face and body products and more. The curriculum is created with both theoretical and applications covering 20 essential oils, 7 carrier oils and 4 hydrolats for the use in body massage and esthetics facial treatment. It is intensive and comprehensive, covering several different disciplines. The curriculum starts with a strong foundation in the human sciences and manual skills before moving on to the most popular aromatherapy modalities. Students learn to integrate these techniques, giving them a well-rounded perspective on the essential oils qualities of bodywork.
On completion of this course, students will have a solid foundation of knowledge on the practical application of aromatherapy to optimize beauty and wellbeing.
